New SME and UCA Career Centers connect industry job seekers and recruiters seamlessly
For those either looking for work or searching for new employees in the mining or underground construction industries, the process has just gotten much easier. SME has migrated to a new platform for its Career Center, and added a separate (new) Career Center for the Underground Construction Association (UCA).
"We're excited to be able to offer a new SME Career Center for our members, both job seekers and employers. We're also happy to offer a Career Center specifically for the UCA division to meet the needs ot job seekers and employers in the tunneling and underground contruction industry," said Laura Nelson, membership manager for SME.
The new platform includes helpful features like free internship postings for employers and regular job flash emails to job seekers.
- If your company has open positions to post, you can find information about employer job postings, packages and fees on the new site.
- If you’re a job seeker, you can post a profile, find career resources and upload your resume for free.
- Anyone can create a job seeker or employer account, but SME and UCA members get lower pricing to run a job posting.
SME migrated to the new platform in order to provide greater functionality for site users and to create a separate Career Center for UCA.
The new UCA Career Center will also be available through Down For That, a special UCA initiative designed to generate interest in the exciting, adventurous and challenging field of civil underground engineering. Learn more at http://undergroundcareers.org/
