Mark your calendars for the 63rd Annual Colorado MPD Meeting
This year the Colorado Minerals Processing Division Conference will tackle the issues of permits, start-ups, expansions and resources with two days of presentations at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO, April 25-27.
As always, the conference will offer a mix of presentations that cover an array of topics. Among this year’s scheduled presentations are talks about oil shale development, solvent extraction of manganese from low-grade ores and issues of permitting and construction at Rosemont copper in the afternoon session on Thursday, April 25.
Friday’s sessions will offer a mix of talks about mineral processing, operational case studies and a fair amount of current event topics and legislative and political issues.
Colorado Mining Association president Stuart Sanderson is scheduled to deliver the luncheon keynote with a presentation titled, “Building public outreach and politics in the industry.”
A golf tournament follows the conference at the world-class Broadmoor East Course.
