The University of Wyoming and clean coal
Mark Northam, director of the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources recently spoke to the Casper Star Tribune about the future of coal, especially “clean coal,” at the university and the state.
Northam, whose school oversees University of Wyoming Carbon Management Institute that promotes research that could be part of clean coal, acknowledges the research and development costs big bucks, but says it is not impossible.
