Blockchain has the ability to transform mining explosives dispatching and transportation process

For the mining industry, explosives and its accessories are a primary aspect; therefore an uninterrupted and secure supply of these items is of critical importance. However, a secure framework of explosives dispatching or transportation process could be a challenge for governmental or regulatory bodies, especially when the misuse of explosives can lead to a potential security risk. Dispatch or transportation of explosives involves several parties, starting from the manufacturer to the distributor, to the transporter and then to individual mines. Additionally, several governmental bodies need to be informed about the life cycle of every unit of explosives dispatched, used, stored, returned or destroyed.
