During the MineXchange 2020 SME Annual Conference & Expo in Phoenix, AZ, Feb. 23-26, Rio Tinto and the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration launched a three-year partnership that will have long-lasting benefits for both organizations.
With an emphasis on health, safety and inclusion, as well as a desire to provide valuable professional development to Rio Tinto employees, the partnership was announced during a press conference attended by a host of Rio Tinto employees, many of whom were getting their first exposure to the Society during MineXchange 2020.
