Latin Resources Ltd. is an exploration company that is focused on Peru. Chris Gale, managing director of the Latin Resources, and his company are bullish about Peruvian mining prospects.
First, Peru is in the midst of an economic boom and, according to Gale, this boom is fueled in large part by mining. The mineral-rich country is already a major international mining producer, the world’s number two in copper, silver, zinc and lead and number six in gold. Gale said that he believes its iron ore resources, the focus of Latin Resources initial mining venture, are of similar world quality.
