When working with any type of drainage pipe, burial depth is always key. The pipe must perform without fail in shallow and deep applications. It must instill a feeling of confidence in those who design the system and in those who pay for it. In the case of the Morenci Mine in Arizona, corrugated, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe is performing as designed at a great burial depth.
