Many coal operations use small dredges to reprocess their coal tailings. Most coal tailings reprocessing operations require movement of 15% solids content.
Dredging Supply Co. (DSC) has developed a unique design that is being used on two coal industry dredges. These coal dredges at Ginger Hill Synfuels and Pleasant Ridge Synfuels are different in design and concept from other dredges.
