PREVIEW:

The Dos Pobres Mine is a copper oxide heap-leach operation located near Safford, AZ.
Mine production is 163 kt/d (180,000 stpd) with a stripping ratio of 2:1. During the startup phase of the mine, the required fragmentation size was easy to achieve as the ore was highly weathered and fractured near the surface.
