Curis, the name of a new Arizona-based mineral development company, is an acronym which stands for “Cu” (elemental symbol for copper), “r” (recovery), “is” (in situ, the Latin for “in place”). The company was created specifically to advance the development of the Florence Copper Project in Florence, AZ and to pursue other next generation copper development projects in progressive jurisdictions around the world.
