Allmand exhibited its LSC 100 Light Sequence Commander, the mining industry’s first automatic lighting and command control system. The system is available with all of Allmand’s portable light towers. The LSC100 uses a preset photocell sensor that allows the light tower to be automatically turned on or off. At dusk, the sensor engages the power unit and then activates the light. At dawn, the sensor automatically shuts off the light. The unit also features an eight-event digital timer that allows eight separate sequences daily.
