Mobile crowdsourcing framework and application in mining evacuation

The word “crowdsourcing” was first used in 2006 by Jeff Howe, a writer for WIRED, to describe the process by which certain firms built their business models by using the wisdom of crowds. This process involved collaboration, aggregation, teamwork, consensus and creativity (Brabham, 2008).
