Coeur Mining uses health and safety consultants to support its mission of pursuing a higher standard.
“Consultants bring a level of knowledge and research around subject matter we do not have the human resource or research capacity to explore ourselves,” said Adam Gregor of Coeur Mining. “ The collaborative effort among our consulting partnerships leverage industry-wide network and research to improve our health and safety systems as well as ensure we are focusing on the correct areas of influence. A level of humility is required to be open to outside sources of knowledge, and for us, it helps us remain a true learning organization where we remain inquisitive about innovations that can help us continue to improve year on year and in keeping people safe. ACoeur we are further developing various aspects of our safety management system, including critical risk management (serious injury and fatality prevention), and human performance reliability.”
