ABSTRACT:
Industrial minerals value up again In the May issue, ME published its annual review of mining activity in the United States during 2018. Written by the U.S. Geological Survey’s (USGS) National Minerals Information Center, the report said that the total estimated value of nonfuel mineral production reached about $82.2 billion. That was up 3 percent from 2017’s $79.6 billion.
