ABSTRACT:
Ghana is centrally located among the countries along the Guinea Coast of Africa. Bordering countries include Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Togo. Cape Three Points (latitude 4?30’ north) marks the extreme southern coast. From there, the country extends inland from the coast to about latitude 11??north, about 672 km (418 miles) south to north. The Greenwich Meridian passes through the eastern part of Ghana at the port of Tema. The total area of the country is 238,535 km2 (92,106 sq miles).
