ABSTRACT:
Most of the ore from Barrick Gold’s Bullfrog Mine was mined using the underhand cut-and-fill method. The Bullfrog ground conditions required the use of backfill — a cemented rock fill product — to replace the void that resulted from the removal of the ore.
