ABSTRACT:
In this study, a solvent extraction–oxalic acid precipitation process is proposed to separate and recover vanadium, nickel and aluminum from the acid-leaching solution of spent hydrodesulfurization catalyst. The technological parameters of selective extraction of vanadium with Cyanex 272 were determined, and the conditions of stripping vanadium from the loaded organic phase by sulfuric acid were explored. Oxalic acid was used to selectively precipitate nickel from the raffinate, and the technological parameters of nickel precipitation were studied.
