Inaugural class earns CMSPs; Eight professionals successfully complete exam in August

On Aug. 25, a milestone in mining safety and health was realized when eight professionals successfully completed the test to earn the Certified Mine Safety Professional (CMSP) credential issued for the first time by the International Academy of Mine Safety and Health of SME (IAMSH of SME). These eight professionals represent the inaugural class for the certification since SME acquired it in 2016.
