SME RESEARCH FORUM: Mining technology and research needs -- chemical products suppliers' perspective

PREVIEW:The minerals industry consumes billions of dollars in raw materials, equipment, tools, services and chemicals. The industry, though, has turned over much of the research and development (R&D) for these products to manufacturers and suppliers. Now the industry and its suppliers must decide how much R&D the mining industry should be responsible for and what role the suppliers should play.
